Cretan salad with Sfakian pie

Ingredients for one salad

1 Sfakian pie,
1 cucumber,
1 onion,
1 tablespoon sliced olive,
1 tablespoon capers,
1 bunch of purslane,
3 tablespoons of olive oil,
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar with honey,
fresh oregano, sea salt. 


Sprinkle the Sfakian pie with olive oil and bake in a grill pan or non-stick frying pan for 3-4 minutes on both sides. Wash and chop the vegetables. Place them on a deep platter and add olives, capers, and purslane. 

In another bowl, mix the olive oil with salt, balsamic vinegar, and fresh oregano. Pour the dressing over the salad.

Place the Sfakian pie over the salad after cutting it into four pieces.
